Arsenal ready to make offer for 23-year-old Real Madrid striker

According to a rumor, Arsenal is considering Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic as a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette.

According to Fichajes reporter Ekrem Konur, Arsenal are considering Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic as a possible replacement for Alexandre Lacazette in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Arsenal has been connected with a number of attackers in recent months as a result of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette’s poor performances.

The 30-year-old France international is poised to become a free agent at the conclusion of the 2021-22 Premier League season, and the Gunners do not look to be close to agreeing to a new contract with him at the moment.

Lacazette might leave Arsenal for free next summer, so it’s no surprise that the Gunners have been connected with a variety of forward alternatives ahead of the January transfer window.

Arsenal are interested in a prospective loan deal for Jovic with a condition that would allow the Gunners to gain a permanent move from Real Madrid, according to Fichajes reporter Konour.

“Arsenal will make a loan bid for Luka Jovic with an option to purchase to Real Madrid,” Konour stated on Twitter. The Spanish giants are looking for €25 million to sell the Serbian attacker.”

Jovic joined Real Madrid in a €60 million summer transfer window from Eintracht Frankfurt, after outstanding performances in the Bundesliga between 2017 and 2019.

However, the Serbian international has failed to make an impression for the La Liga giants, raising doubts about his long-term future in Spain ahead of the January transfer window.

So far in the 2021-22 season, Jovic has failed to score in six appearances across all competitions.

Despite scoring 36 times in 75 games for Frankfurt, the 23-year-old has only scored two goals in 38 appearances in all competitions since his big-money switch to Real Madrid.
