Gabriel’s first match back with the Gunners after his spell on the sidelines was the 1-0 win against Norwich, and his impressive displays alongside White in defence have warranted an upgrade for the Brazilian.

The right-back position has been a problem for Arsenal over the last couple of years due to the decline of Hector Bellerin, but the Gunners seem to have found their solution, with Tomiyasu being excellent for Arteta since his arrival.
Tomiyasu saw his overall and potential rating both increase by one overall, and he also received in-game upgrades in his acceleration (68-70), positioning (38-50), sprint speed (68-72), marking (77-78), reactions (71-73), standing tackle (77-79), aggression (73-75) and composure (60-65) all increasing.
