Chelsea reportedly begin talks with Wonderkid agent over transfer

According to sources, Chelsea has begun talks with the agent of prolific young German attacker Karim Adeyemi’

According to Calciomercato, the 19-year-contract old’s expires in the summer, and The Blues are the only club to have spoken to his agent about a summer move.

Adeyemi has already been capped 3 times by the German national side and scored 1 goal for them, so he will surely have a list of suitors that will grow from now until the summer, but Chelsea are very much one of them according to the report.

Chelsea could probably do with an extra centre forward, given their recent form following injuries. They’ve utilized Kai Havertz to fill in there, but they don’t have any other real centre forward other than Romelu Lukaku.

In the summer of 2022, Thomas Tuchel’s team re-signed Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan, but the Belgian international has been plagued by injury and isn’t firing at the present. The 28-year-old former Manchester United striker has three Premier League goals and one Champions League goal in seven appearances.

Adeyemi has eight goals in ten games in the Austrian Bundesliga this season. So far this season, the 19-year-old Germany international striker has scored three goals in three Champions League appearances for RB Salzburg.

According to the source, Adeyemi is preparing to’unleash an international auction’ next summer, and Chelsea is ahead of the game, having made contact with his entourage.

Inter Milan is also interested in signing the youngster, who has a contract that expires in 2024.

Chelsea are looking for a striker to relieve the strain on Romelu Lukaku, and a move for Adeyemi may be a good fit.

After Erling Haaland and Patson Daka, he is the next in line of excellent forwards at Salzburg.

However, the 19-year-old has a number of suitors, and Chelsea may have to fight for his signing if they are serious about bringing the German international to Stamfford Bridge.
