Thomas Tuchel Set To Let Chelsea star leave Amid Barcelona Interest

According to rumours, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would let USMNT player Christian Pulisic to depart the club in January due to interest from Barcelona.

The American has been plagued by injuries so far this season, and as a result, he has seen minimal action.

Tuchel has decided to sell Pulisic in the winter window, according to El Nacional.

Despite his injury concerns, numerous clubs had inquired about Pulisic’s availability in January, according to reports.

With so many offensive players in his position, securing a starting place might be tough, and a transfer abroad could be in the cards.

Since a result, a transfer to Barcelona might happen, as he has the option of joining up with Sergino Dest, his international teammate.

Pulisic scored against Crystal Palace on the first day of the season, but he tested positive for COVID-19 and had to isolate at home.

After that, he sustained an ankle injury that kept him out of the Blues’ lineup for many weeks until coming on as a late substitution against Malmo. He also played in Chelsea’s last game before the international break against Burnley.

According to El Nacional, Tuchel has instructed owner Roman Abramovich to sell Pulisic, and the Blues may make an offer to Barcelona.
