Tuchel sends clear Premier League title message to Liverpool and Man City

The Blues’ manager is eager to build on the club’s Champions League triumph from the previous season.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel feels his squad has more to offer and confesses he wants to win more championships with the Blues.

Last season, the German coach took over and led his team to a top-four finish and a Champions League victory in Porto against Manchester City.

Kai Havertz scored the game’s sole goal, beating goalkeeper Ederson while he was through on goal to give the Blues their second Champions League triumph.

Chelsea’s success has carried into this season, with the Blues dominating the Premier League championship race heading into the November international break, three points ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

“It’s the greatest relief and the purest delight [winning the final], ” the head coach remarked in a clip on the official Chelsea Twitter.

“These are the moments that will last forever.”

“There’s still a lot more to come, and we want to win it all.”

The words are from a documentary on the Champions League final in Porto, which was won earlier this summer.

Tuchel had previously come close to winning the European Cup with his old club PSG, but had lost to Bayern Munich the year before.

Petr Cech, the former Chelsea goalkeeper and current technical adviser, was also included in the video, saying: “If you keep doing something well, here is where you slip into the category of greatness.”

The Blues are still in with a possibility of winning all of their tournaments, as they presently lead the Premier League, are second in their Champions League group, and have advanced to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
